KM512 MH 14PL Printhead Description
The Konica Minolta KM512 MH printhead is a durable, shear mode, piezo on-demand print head that operates in both binary and 4-level greyscale modes. This allows for variable drop sizes and enhanced print quality without needing additional print heads. The KM512 MH features 512 nozzles with a droplet size of 14 picoliters and a native resolution of 360 dpi. They are compatible with various inks, including solvent, UV, and oil-based inks. For high-viscosity inks like UV inks, the km512 printhead is integrated with a heater that can be heated up to 55°C to ensure optimal performance.
