Konica Minolta KM1024LHB Printhead Description
The Konica Minolta KM1024LHB print head, also known as the Konica Minolta KM1024LHB, is a robust, shear mode, piezo on-demand print head designed for both binary and 8-level greyscale modes. This capability allows for variable drop sizes and enhanced print quality without the need for additional print heads.
The KM1024LHB printhead is a significant improvement over the KM512 series, offering twice the print width and double the greyscale levels. Konica Minolta’s piezo on-demand inkjet heads operate at lower voltages compared to other inkjet heads, and the new actuator in the KM1024 further reduces power consumption. The KM1024LHB features 1024 nozzles with a droplet size of 42 pico liters and a native resolution of 360 dpi.
KM1024LHB printhead is compatible with various inks, including solvent, UV, and oil-based inks. For high-viscosity inks like UV and solvent inks, the KM1024 is integrated with a heater to ensure optimal performance.
