The Ricoh Gen5s MH5220 Printhead is a high precision industrial UV inkjet printhead engineered for demanding single-pass and multi-pass printing applications. Built with Ricoh’s durable stainless steel construction and advanced piezo technology, the MH5220 delivers stable jetting performance, excellent durability, and long operational life in continuous production environments.
The printhead features 1,280 nozzles with native 600 dpi resolution and supports grayscale printing with variable droplet sizes from 2.5pl to 9pl, enabling smooth gradients, sharp text, and high image quality without visible graininess. Its integrated heater and thermistor allow stable printing with high viscosity UV inks while maintaining consistent output quality at high production speeds. The isolated ink path design improves chemical resistance and reliability, reducing the risk of ink related actuator damage.

The main functions of Ricoh G5s printhead include:

2. The multi-ink drop function can create various ink drop sizes from 2.5 to 9pl, and the pattern fineness completely exceeds the Epson printhead.
