Konica Minolta KM 3688H / REVO-E Printhead Description
The Konica Minolta KM 3688H/REVO-E printhead, also referred to as the Konica Minolta KM1024SHB printhead, is a durable, shear-mode, piezo on-demand print head capable of operating in both binary and 8-level greyscale modes. This allows for variable drop sizes and higher print quality without requiring additional print heads.
It represents a significant advancement over the KM512 series, offering double the print width and greyscale levels. Konica Minolta’s piezo on-demand inkjet heads operate at lower voltages compared to other inkjet heads, and the new actuator in the KM1024 further reduces power consumption.
The Konica Minolta KM 3688H print head features 1024 nozzles, a droplet size of 6 picoliters, and a native resolution of 360 dpi. It is ideal for UV and solvent inks because it is integrated with a heater.
